DELL Inspiron Mini 9 (ubuntu9.04 "kernel 2.6.28-15-generic") に D11LCを導入する。

＃結果的に簡単なことがわかりました。(このブログにしては異例のポスト)

元々E-mobileのD11LCとのセットだったDELLのInspiron Mini 9(Windows版)を
急遽ubuntu9.04(kernel 2.6.28-15-generic)で使うことになり、NetBook Remixを
入れるところまでは順調だったものの当のD11LCを使うのに妙に苦労したのでメモ。

オカサカは技術系な人ではないので記述は不正確だと思いますが、
結論から先に言うと、kernel 2.6.28-13　から/boot/grub/menu.lst の編集や
usbmodeswitchの導入は要らなくなったと思われます。

D11LCを本体に挿して

sudo modprobe usbserial vendor=0x1c9e product=0x6061

を実行後

gksu gnome-ppp

を実行する。
gnome-pppの設定は下記のとおりで接続できました。
